Hannah Brooks

Hannah is a performance engineer at Vantlow. Her job began as a one-quarter project to speed up the delivery tracking page and became a standing team after load time on mid-range phones fell from 6.1 to 2.3 seconds. She is known for the performance budget spreadsheet that every squad at Vantlow now copies.

Her talk is about the slow page nobody owns, such as the marketing site, the help centre or the login screen, and how to find an owner, set a budget that survives a redesign and measure real users instead of lab scores.
